The Maltings

The Maltings is a gated residence of 266 self-catered rooms, located in Old Basford - two miles from NTU’s City Campus. It’s ideal if you want accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Flats contain up to ten students in bedrooms with washbasins, and shared bathrooms, kitchen-dining areas, and common rooms. The hall includes on-site parking and a free NCT bus pass.

Applications are now open for The Maltings for 2025/26, and we've frozen rent prices at 2024/25 rates! Opt for a 44 weeks or 51 weeks and select a reward that suits you best: £300 NTU campus credit or free parking. Subject to availability, terms and conditions apply.

Accessibility
• This residence has some ground floor rooms, of which some have level access.
• Medication fridges can be provided in individual rooms where medically necessary.
• Parking permits available for purchase at this residence, which are free of charge for blue badge holders.
• This residence is served by an NCT bus route (see NCT's accessibility information).
• Vibrating pillows and flashing alarms can be implemented for students with a hearing impairment.
• This residence does not have any adapted rooms; however, grab rails may be able to be installed if required.
