We’ve got safe and comfy accommodation in the middle of the city, putting you within easy reach of everything. You can be guaranteed you will become well acquainted with Devon, David, Daniel, Simon, our amazing team at reception who are on hand to help you settle in and make Arran House and Edinburgh your new home away from home. We’ve got regular events like pub quizzes and games nights to help you make loads of new friends and regularly we even have free tea and coffee at reception to keep you warm on your way to uni! Combine all that with regular competitions for great prizes and you’ll soon see why we’re more than your average student accommodation.

Your New Home Away From Home!
Arran House is one of three residences we have in Edinburgh. It’s just a 20-minute walk from the University of Edinburgh and Napier University, and a 25-minute bus ride from Heriot-Watt University. So whichever one you’re studying at, getting there will be nice and simple.

Edinburgh Haymarket station is within walking distance too – so going home for the weekend or holidays will be nice and hassle-free! We’re also super-close to fantastic bus links to the Airport, city centre and Ocean Terminal.

The very heart of the city is a 20-minute stroll away. So the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street (the main shopping area), Edinburgh Waverley train station, and countless other landmarks, are virtually on your doorstep. There’s always something to do or see in your spare time.
